Multi Jet Fusion builds complex and highly detailed thermoplastic parts up to 10 times faster than SLS. MarkForged 3D printers have revolutionized 3D printing by seamlessly integrating continuous strands of Carbon Fiber, Kevlar or Fiberglass into the printed parts. It uses a patented pairing of a Composite Filament Fabrication (CFF) printhead that operates in tandem with a FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) printhead. The resulting fiber-reinforced nylon parts have a strength-to-weight ratio exceeding aluminum. They are many times stronger than the plastic materials typically used by standard FDM desktop 3D printers.
