Metal Casting Process

Metal Casting is when liquified metal is poured in to a mold and allowed to harden. Once the metal is hardened, the outer mold is removed and the piece can then be finished as desired.  Metal casting is used when an intricate solid metal shape is desired. There are many forms of metal casting including sand casting, investment casting, plaster casting, and spin casting.
